Sobe lifewater.

I was at Target and I was thirsty. There were so many different kinds of drinks you can chose from when you walk around Target. I came across one kind, Sobe lifewater. There were so many different choices and the bottles were so colorful too, each distinguishing their flavor from the color of the bottle. I always come across this kind of drink but never got a chance to try it on my own. I haven’t heard feedbacks from my friend if they tried it or not. Since it was on sale and I was thirsty, it was the drink’s lucky day. It caught my eye to get the product. There were many flavors to choose from, but I was in a mood for something lemonade-y. I found one, agave lemonade. I had no idea what agave was, but it had lemonade in it, so I thought it should be good. I took my first sip of it; I didn’t taste anything much since it was a tiny sip. When I got a chance to get back to my car, I sat there and took another sip. It tasted like lemonade. It’s similar to the Vitamin Water lemonade flavor one. It was pretty nice. I enjoyed it and now I want to try other flavors also in the future.

Just for my curiosity to know what agave was, I used my phone to text Google to get an idea what agave is. It gave me this, “tropical American plants with basal rosettes of fibrous sword-shaped leave and flowers in tall spikes; some cultivated for ornament or for fiber.” I thought it was interesting, so now I know it’s something that’s healthy for you. Hehe. ;)

Persimmon.

It’s one of those seasons for fruits. Persimmon. It’s also one of the fruits that I enjoy around this time. It’s like how I introduced longan in one of my earlier blogs how they were in the season. Same for persimmons, they’re really sweet around this time of year. I went to Asian grocery stores and they’re stocked on a lot of those fruit. Many consumers were piled on top of each other trying to get hold of the fruit and pick from the big pile of persimmons. I think majority of the Asians know what kind of fruit this is and fairly enjoy it the most. Like the longan situation when I was at the grocery store, many foreigners asking and pointing “what is that?” Luckily, they provided samples for the foreign consumers and looking at their facial expressions, I think they enjoyed it and wanted to try some more. Next thing you know is that they were with the Asian consumers piled on top to get some of those fruits.

The texture of this fruit is varied. Many people like it differently. I tried different kinds of it. Sometime they can be crunchy and soft, but of course the sweetness of it is the same. I really enjoy eating this fruit sometimes and I think it’s only this around of time that I can consume it. They’re not like apples or oranges where you can it in all season. It’s only available around this season. Grab some and try it out yourself. The sweetness if unbelievable and you’re going to love it. :)

Stride.

Past two days when I was walking out of the GCB, people were passing out samples of Stride gum along with a piece of paper that’s in a circle shaped. I thought it was nice and took the samples since I love chewing gum, something that I can chew while I walk to the Marta station and during the ride too.

The gum was advertised as long lasting flavor. Whenever I think of long lasting, it would last for about an hour or so. As I walk to the Marta station, I popped a piece of gum and chewed it during the 5 minute walk. Then I had to wait for the train for another 12 minutes, the flavor was still there. I thought it was pretty decent for about 20 minutes. You can still taste the hence of the flavor while chewing it for about 20 minutes. The train finally came; I was still chewing the gum. The gum didn’t turn really hard or soft yet. It was still the right texture for chewing. I thought it was a pretty decent gum to chew while walking to the train, waiting for the train, and sitting on the train. I finally got a chance to check out the circle piece of paper that was passed along with the Stride samples. It was a coupon! I will definitely use it when I go to the grocery store to get the product especially the new flavors that they came out. It wasn’t all that bad where you can’t chew it at all. It’s just something to chew when you’re bored and to occupy your mouth. I will definitely recommend it for others.

Halls overdose.

Sorry for not updating for awhile, I have so much things going on and now I’m sick. :(

I love eating Halls Vitamin Cs or cough drops whether I’m sick or just for fun. But this week, I think I had too much of it, where I call “Halls overdose”. It’s crazy, ever since the weather change, everyone have been getting sick including me. I hate being sick. Stuffy nose, scratchy throat, running nose, nonstop coughing, it’s not fun being sick. But Halls are here to help you especially when your throat is dry like crazy. They’re here to help you soothe your throat when you really need one. YAY for Halls, now I need to run to CVS to get another bag of vitamin c’s to keep myself supply. Make sure you have a bag of cough drops when you’re sick because when you really need it, it helps a lot!
